Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital, also known as Yangzhou University affiliated Subei People's Hospital, is the clinical teaching hospital for Nanjing Medical University, Dalian Medical University, and Xuzhou Medical University. It is located in Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, a city awarded the UN Habitat Scroll of Honor and a famous historical and cultural city. The hospital was founded in 1900. In 1994, it was rated as one of the first nine tertiary first-class general hospitals in the province, providing  medical and health care to nearly 10 million people in Yangzhou and adjacent areas. The hospital has obtained the A+ grade in the performance assessment of national tertiary public hospitals for 5 consecutive years, ranking 48th best hospital in the country.

The main hospital has 2,500 open beds (as of the end of 2023), and there are more than 3,000 full time employees.
