Dr. Xu graduated from Peking University and received Ph.D. degree in 2016. After graduation, he successively served as a lecturer and associate professor at Dalian Medical University. He is currently an associate professor at the Health Science Center of ECNU. His research studies focus the pathogenesis of vascular dysfunction such as cardiac remodeling, vascular remodeling, and hypertension. He also seeks potential therapeutic drugs for cardiovascular diseases. He leads or participates in serval projects, including the projects of National Natural Science Foundation. In the past 5 years, he has published 15 articles as the first author or corresponding author in well-known journals such as PNAS, JCI insight, JMCB, Hypertension research and JAHA. In 2018, he was selected as the Ten Thousand Talent Project in Liaoning Province, and in 2019, he was awarded the title of Young Science and Technology Star in Dalian. Dr. Xu currently a member of the Chinese Society of Physiology and the Chinese Society of Pathology and Physiology.
